What is Osteopathy?
Founded by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still
in the late 19th century, osteopathy emerged as a holistic approach to healthcare.
Dr. Still, a physician disillusioned with conventional medicine's reliance
on drugs and surgery, developed osteopathy based on the principle
that the body has the inherent ability to heal itself. He believed
that structural imbalances and restrictions in the musculoskeletal
system could disrupt the body's natural healing processes. As
classically trained Osteopathic Manual Practitioners, our
treatments focus on gentle manual manipulations to restore
mobility, alleviate pain, and promote overall wellness.
